Beautiful People

So... I know it's been a while since my last real update... but I'm just too busy and frankly, nothing interesting has happened to me. Well... maybe that's a lie. Nothing has happened that gave me the urge to write. But... today I have something to write about.

So... in August I became slightly obsessed with this new show Beautiful People. It's on ABC Family, Monday nights at 9. (Or at least it was). It's about these two girls and their mother. The father leaves, and they move from New Mexico to NYC. The mother, Lynn, is working in fashion. The older daughter, Karen, is an aspiring model. And the younger daughter, Sophie, is a sophomore at a prestigious high school. And lots and lots of stuff happens. And it is sooo good. Lynn meets the "guy that got away" again but he is married. But there is definitely still something there. Karen starts taking diet pills and gets into other bad situations (like being stalked by Sophies photography teacher). And then their is Sophie. She has two best friends at school, Gideon and Annabelle. They are sort of the social outcasts I guess you could say. So when she gets there Nicky (the really rich popular guy) makes a bet that he can get Sophie to sleep with him by midterms. Well, he ends up getting to know her, and really likes her, and they end up dating. And then Sophie found out about the bet, and they broke up. But Nicky still really likes her. But then Sophie thinks she might like Gideon, but so does Annabelle (last week Sophie kissed Gideon!). And the killer. Nicky's dad is Sophie's mothers "the one that got away."

So last night... what a night!

Karen found out about being stalked by the teacher. Her family found out about the diet pills. She filled her new boyfriend in on everything, and is getting better.

Lynn had a successful fashion show. Nicky's parents split, and Lynn and what's his face kissed.

Sophie was asked to the formal by Gideon and Nicky, and now she has to pick. At first she says she doesn't want to, but after her mom and sister forcing her to go, she picks Nicky! It was so happy!




So... let me just tell you that this show is probably ten times more addicting that it seems because I am an awful story teller. Yesterday I watched the entire show standing in front of the TV, and a majority of the end jumping up and down and screaming because I was so excited!

The sad part is there have only been 8 episodes and last night was the season finale because they weren't sure it was going to be a success. And I think I will probably cry if it is canceled because it really is the one show that I look forward to the most every week. Yes, even more than The OC and Laguna Beach! Wow is right! Check it out!
